Mbarara’s popular lifestyle event, the Gordon’s Acacia Brunch Affair, will celebrate its first anniversary on August 31 at Acacia Inn with singer Azawi as the headlining act.

Best known for hits such as Slow Dancing and Masavu, Azawi will perform alongside Mbarara’s Ambroy, DJ Entania, and other entertainers in what organizers say will be one of the biggest brunch experiences in the city this year.

Since its launch, the monthly brunch has steadily grown into one of Mbarara’s signature social events, bringing together food, music, and networking. The anniversary edition, dubbed the “Brunchversary,” is expected to draw a big crowd of revelers.

Event organizers said the milestone celebration will feature live performances and entertainment highlights, while Uganda Breweries, through its Gordon’s brand, has pledged to add its own touch to the occasion.

Nancy Nansikombi, the Gordon’s brand manager, noted that the company was excited to mark the anniversary and hinted at a special pop-up experience for guests.

The brunch, which has attracted a loyal following over the past year, has become a regular feature on Mbarara’s social calendar and continues to grow as a lifestyle attraction in western Uganda.
