Uganda’s most unpredictable star, Alien Skin real name Patrick Mulwana, has dropped a bombshell — he’s officially team NRM.
The Mbawe hitmaker made the revelation right on stage at Kololo Independence Grounds during President Museveni’s nomination celebrations. With zero hesitation, he told the crowd:
“I am tired of hiding. I belong to NRM.”
But here’s the plot twist — earlier this year, Alien Skin was unveiled by Mathias Mpuuga’s Democratic Front Party as their mobilizer for the 2026 elections. They even signed an MOU and gave him a political stage, banking on his massive youth following in Buganda.
At the time, Alien Skin was all smiles, telling supporters:
“I am very pleased to be given this kind of platform to stand here before you as an active politician.”
Now, just a few months later, the singer has switched sides and aligned himself with the ruling party, a move that’s sure to spark conversation (and controversy) in both music and political circles.
Question is; is this the start of Alien Skin’s full-time political career, or just another chapter in his unpredictable journey?
