Police are investigating city musician Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, following the death of a dancer who once belonged to his Fangone Forest crew. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed that the deceased, identified as Wilfred Namuwaya, a resident of Ndeeba in Rubaga Division, was first abducted from his home on Thursday by a man linked to Fangone Forest before being taken to the group’s base.
It is alleged that Alien Skin commanded his men to discipline Namuwaya for leaving Fangone Forest without permission. The group reportedly assaulted him severely and later abandoned him in Mpomba Zone, where residents rushed him to Ayaan Life Care Medical Center. After a scan, he was referred to Mulago National Referral Hospital, where he died on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Police say they are now hunting for Alien Skin and others identified as Commander Mdogo, Ibra Kabadiya, and Mijagulo, and have appealed to anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses say before his death, Namuwaya appeared in a video that went viral online showing men covering his eyes while Alien Skin allegedly ordered the beating.
Neighbors claim that after working for Alien Skin for two years, Namuwaya had left the group, a move that might have sparked the attack. His mother, Everest Namkula, who travelled from Mbale after being informed of his condition, told police that people pointed to Alien Skin as the one who had ordered her son’s beating.
Reports further suggest that Fangone Forest members have in recent weeks been linked to other violent incidents targeting both former crew members and ordinary citizens, though many victims are said to have kept quiet out of fear of revenge. Police have since increased surveillance around the group and urged those who may have suffered similar attacks to report to authorities.
