Controversial singer Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, has hinted at quitting live stage performances, citing the growing hate and challenges that have trailed his meteoric rise to fame.
The singer revealed that his initial plan was to earn about Shs8 million from music as startup capital for other business ventures, but he now regrets prolonging his stay in the industry.
“I might resort to online shows, but I won’t step on stage again unless otherwise,” Alien Skin declared, adding that his decision is not driven by fear but by what he sees as the right direction. “Singing doesn’t need the strongest, but I won’t be performing anymore,” he stressed.
His announcement comes in the wake of mounting public scrutiny, particularly over allegations linking him to the death of Wilfred Namuwaya alias Top Dancer, who reportedly succumbed to injuries after being assaulted by members of Alien Skin’s camp at Fangone Forest earlier this week.

The Top Dancer saga adds to a string of controversies the singer has been involved in despite his short stint in the music industry, which spans less than three years.
Alien Skin, who has built a cult following with his raw style and fearless persona, remains tight-lipped on whether this decision could mark a permanent exit or just a temporary retreat from the stage.
