It is nearly a week since musician Alien Skin went missing, with friends and family still searching and turning to the police for answers.
According to close associates, the singer is currently unreachable, sparking speculation about his fate. His disappearance comes in the wake of mounting allegations linking him to the death of Top Dancer, a former member of his crew.
Police probe musician Alien Skin over murder allegations
Since murder charges were raised last Friday, some members of Alien Skin’s camp suspected he might have been abducted or quietly arrested. But those assumptions were dismissed after Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango clarified that the musician is not in police custody.
“Alien Skin is not in our hands. And we are requesting that if you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please come to us in secret because he is wanted,” Mr Onyango said.
Alien Skin, along with aides Commander Mdogo, Ibrahim Mukiibi alias Ibra Kabadiya, and Isma Mijagulo, is wanted by police in connection with the murder of Wilfred Namuwaya, a former member of Fangone Forest, the singer’s crew.
Mr Onyango earlier explained that police are hunting for Alien Skin and three members of Fangone Forest following the assault on Namuwaya at Kizungu Zone, Luwafu Parish in Makindye Division.
“…Alien Skin allegedly instructed his team to discipline Namuwaya for leaving Fangone Forest without permission. The group severely assaulted him before abandoning him in Mpomba Zone. He was rushed by a Good Samaritan to Mulago Hospital, where he was confirmed dead on 22 September 2025,” the police spokesperson said.
Although Mr Onyango maintained that efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects, eyewitnesses reported that officers looked on as Alien Skin’s entourage drove away from the crime scene to Kololo.
