As Uganda paused to celebrate Independence, the nation’s spirit found a vibrant three-day home at the Ndere Cultural Centre. From October 9th to 11th, 2025, Uganda Waragi joined thousands of revelers in raising a glass to five years of the Vumbula Uganda Festival—an annual celebration of culture, creativity, and community that brought together locals and international guests in the true spirit of Uganda.
The festival was a living canvas of national pride. Days unfolded with electrifying performances—from ancestral cultural dances and drumbeats to high-energy urban showcases. Fashion took center stage as models walked runways adorned with bold, contemporary designs that redefined Ugandan style. Yet, the emotional core of the festival beat loudest at the Uganda Waragi “SoUG” Wall of Affirmation. Here, against the backdrop of Independence, guests penned what makes them So Ugandan, creating a vibrant mosaic of identity, pride, and shared joy.
Speaking at the celebration, Uganda Waragi Brand Manager Hillary Baguma said:
“For five years, the Vumbula Uganda Festival has showcased the unapologetic spirit of the Pearl. We are proud to see Ugandans and friends from afar raise a glass of Uganda Waragi as we celebrate our roots, our culture, and each other across these three unforgettable days.”
Each guest who raised a bottle of Uganda Waragi was treated to a signature serve cocktail—simple, crisp, and symbolic of the moment. The festival proved beyond doubt that the spirit of the Pearl is bold, authentic, entertaining, and best experienced together.
Uganda Waragi raises a glass to five years of unity, heritage, and cultural pride—and to many more.
