Mbarara’s social crowd turned up in style last weekend as the Acacia Brunch lit up the Acacia Inn with music, laughter, and the unmistakable spirit of celebration. What started as a slow, sunny afternoon quickly evolved into a lively showcase of fashion, flavour, and performance — the kind of gathering that has made this brunch a must-attend on the city’s social calendar.
The highlight of the day was Elijah Kitaka, whose electric live set carried the afternoon. With a smooth blend of soulful vocals and catchy beats, the Daily Bundle star had the crowd singing, swaying, and cheering to every tune. His performance blurred the line between concert and brunch, transforming the venue into a lively dance floor.
The setting itself added to the experience — soft sunlight spilling through the glass walls, floral arrangements framing the space, and tables alive with colour and chatter. Guests arrived dressed to impress, turning the venue into a canvas of effortless style and weekend ease.
Amid the laughter and clinking glasses, bottomless cocktails became the day’s signature indulgence. Expertly mixed and elegantly presented, they kept conversations flowing and spirits high. The Ginspiration Station photobooth drew groups of friends eager to capture the perfect brunch moment — a snapshot of what Mbarara’s evolving social scene looks like today.
“This brunch has grown into more than a meal — it’s an experience,” said Nancy Nansikombi, Brand Manager at Uganda Breweries. “It’s where music, taste, and good company come together effortlessly.”
Now marking just over a year since its debut, the Acacia Brunch has established itself as Mbarara’s go-to monthly celebration — a place where great performances, chic ambience, and endless laughter meet under one roof.
