The Rave to the Grave Halloween Party went down at Somewhere Else Bar in Naguru over the weekend with a full house of revellers.
The venue was turned into a full-blown spooky fiesta, thanks to Talent Africa Group, with dark lights, eerie costumes, loud beats, and that wild Nyege Nyege energy that Kampala party animals can’t resist.
The show officially kicked off with the opening of the Nyege Nyege Portal “Ekiggunda Ky’Omuliro: Gathering of the Flame”, and from there, it was pure madness. VX Faizal and DJ Rocky set the crowd on fire with their killer mixes of house, hip-hop, and Afrobeat, before Aweko Brian took over with his smooth Afro-pop and R&B sounds that had everyone singing along.
Performers R3ign Drops and Hibotep came through with heavy hip-hop, trap, and Afrobeat fusions, keeping the ravers locked in. Then Authentic Voices Africa sealed the night with powerful traditional-meets-modern sets that celebrated African music in its rawest form.
From pumpkin carving to freaky costumes, the night was a wild mix of fun, fear, and festivity, exactly what a Nyege Nyege pre-party should be.
