The Bell ObaFest regional tour came to a thrilling close on Saturday night, as the vibrant party spirit of West Nile converged for a spectacular final stop at Capital One Lounge in the heart of Arua City, celebrating the region’s powerful and diverse music scene.
As the last regional event before the grand Kampala finale on November 15, the Arua pre-festival experience reaffirmed one thing the appetite for unique, flavourful enjoyment reaches every corner of Uganda.
Under a cool, drizzling evening sky, the warmth of West Nile’s energy filled the venue as party lovers turned up in large numbers to experience Bell’s signature blend of good music, sizzling Nyama Choma, and the festival’s celebrated flavour innovations Bell Citrus and Bell Honey.
The night came alive with electrifying performances that showcased the depth of homegrown talent. Local duo Black Harmony captivated the crowd with their melodic folksong rap; Eddy Topsy amazed with freestyle bars that flowed across the region’s languages; King Weeda and D’Wyne Gabana had the audience singing along to every lyric; and FreeBoy, proudly representing Yumbe, sealed the night as a true celebration of West Nile pride.
Football fans were also treated to live match screenings that drew early excitement, before the party shifted outdoors to fun games like ring toss with guests competing for the ultimate reward: a cold Bell. The night’s atmosphere was filled with the scent of roasting meat and the sound of laughter, perfectly capturing the spirit of “Oba Enjoyments.”
Reflecting on the success of Arua and the entire regional journey — which included Gulu and Masaka — Lillian Kansiime, Brand Manager for Bell Lager at Uganda Breweries Limited, said:
“The response all over has been phenomenal. We set out to prove that Bell is the official beer of enjoyments for all of Uganda, and the people have spoken loud and clear. Come November 15th, we’re ready to cap off our nationwide flavour journey at Millennium Grounds celebrating Uganda’s vibrant music, food, and of course, Bell Citrus and Honey.”
With the regional tour now concluded, all eyes turn to Kampala, where the 2025 Bell ObaFest Grand Finale will unfold at Millennium Grounds. The highly anticipated celebration promises an immersive experience featuring a massive flavour zone, live performances curated by Swangz Avenue, and the support of partners like SafeBoda and Coca-Cola ensuring a safe, seamless, and unforgettable experience of Uganda’s finest enjoyments.
