Today, the spotlight has swung to the queens of the industry. From Sheebah versus Spice Diana, to Cindy taking on Sheebah, and Vinka versus Irene Ntale. The ladies now steer the narrative.
And there is a new contender ready to shake things up.
Ava Peace, the fast-rising star on the block, has boldly thrown down the gauntlet, daring both Sheebah Karungi and Vinka to a music battle.
During her appearance on Horizon Vibe, she said she is more than ready to face Sheebah but only under the right conditions.
“It is okay, why not? We all have music, and I would go for it. If it is healthy and everyone is getting money from it, I believe it is okay. But if it is the other way round, I wouldn’t be up for it. Otherwise, I’m open for business as long as it is bringing cash to our table,” Ava Peace said.
The Team No Sleep singer emphasized that she will not entertain any toxic energy surrounding the battle, but if the terms are fair — she is ready.
And she did not stop there. When asked who else she would be willing to face in a musical showdown, Ava Peace said stepping on the same stage with Vinka would be “amazing.”
Her boldness comes months after events promoter Abitex announced on his social media that he was willing to stake Shs100 million for Sheebah and Shs70 million for Ava Peace if the two agreed to battle.
