Catwalk Bar and Lounge marked its fifth anniversary with a high-energy celebration . The milestone party attracted Kampala’s most stylish and social crowd for an elevated nightlife experience that reflected Catwalk’s growth over the past five years.
The black-carpet arrival moment was a fashion show of its own, with well-known socialites and trendsetters stepping out in bold, head-turning looks. Cameras flashed nonstop as guests posed, strutted, and owned the spotlight.
Don Julio firmly stamped its presence as the partner behind the night’s elevated experience. The creative bottle serves became a highlight of the event; waitresses emerged in a dramatic procession with illuminated bottles and a signature bell sound effect, turning every serve into a mini-performance.
Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager for Tequila and Rum in East Africa, emphasized that this is just the first of many collaborations between Don Julio and Catwalk Lounge.

The music policy delivered exactly what was promised: high-energy, nostalgic, and in sync with the mood. DJs Hady and Liito warmed up the crowd with old-school and vintage grooves, while MCs Pest and Josh kept the energy up.
The excitement spiked when Sheila Gashumba, aka DJ Lil Stunner, stepped behind the decks, spinning an electric mix of Amapiano and Dancehall that had guests dancing and eager to capture every moment.
Then, at around 2am, Queen Karma herself took the stage. Sheebah’s explosive performance drew the crowd closer, phones up as she delivered hit after hit with trademark energy and confidence. Guests sang along, danced freely, and fully embraced the moment.
The festivities carried on into the early hours of Wednesday morning, with revelers leaving Catwalk with memories they will not forget anytime soon.
