For many artistes, the first successful concert becomes a ritual. Concerts are, after all, a major income stream. But there comes a time when repetition outweighs creativity, and the magic begins to thin.
Spice Diana appears to have reached that crossroads. Since bursting onto the entertainment scene, the Siri Regular hitmaker has staged more than three concerts, with her most recent being 10 Years of Spice Diana, held at Kampala Serena Hotel in January. Naturally, fans expected the singer to roll out another concert in 2026.
But that is not happening as she has other plans. Speaking during a recent interview, Spice Diana made it clear that next year is reserved for pursuits beyond the concert stage.
“No,” she responded when asked if she plans to open 2026 with a concert. “I usually start the year with one, but this year has moved so fast.”
The decision signals a shift in strategy rather than a slowdown. Spice Diana insists she feels no pressure to flood the market with new music, noting that her recent releases are still performing well on the charts. Instead, she plans to release music more selectively in 2026.
The singer says she wants to invest more time in promotion and, more importantly, tap into revenue from digital platforms, an area many artistes often overlook while chasing stage performances.
