Content creator and TikTok FC captain Richard Musimenta, popularly known as Richie 256, capped off 2025 in style by traveling from Uganda to Morocco to witness the Africa Cup of Nations clash between the Uganda Cranes and Nigeria.
Richie 256 departed on December 28, 2025, accompanied by fellow TikTok FC creators Arc Angel, Nishata Aksam, and Timo Sports.
For the young creators, the journey went far beyond football, marking a milestone that blended travel, culture, creativity, and national pride.
In Morocco, the crew fully immersed themselves in the AFCON experience, proudly representing Uganda both in the stands and across their social media platforms.
During the December 30 match, which ended in a 3–1 defeat for Uganda, the TikTokers stood out among fans, cheering passionately, chanting, and vibing to Ugandan music. Moments before kickoff, Eddy Kenzo’s “Sitya Loss” rang through the stadium, adding a distinctly Ugandan flavor to the occasion.
The trip also marked another chapter in Richie 256’s meteoric rise. Hailing from Mpigi District, the 22-year-old influencer has grown from posting viral TikTok clips in 2020 to becoming one of Uganda’s most recognizable digital stars. His creativity, consistency, and deep connection with fans earned him the Best Social Media Influencer award at the 2024 Pulse Influencer Awards.
After several days soaking in Moroccan culture and AFCON excitement, the TikTok FC team returned home on January 1, 2026, closing the year on a high and ushering in the new one with memories many young creators can only dream of.
The unforgettable Morocco experience was made possible with support from MTN Uganda, whose facilitation helped turn digital dreams into real-world moments.
