Bebe Cool has stepped in to pardon TikTok creator Luwilight, who was recently arrested and remanded to Luzira Prison on charges of misinformation and hate speech.

During a phone interview with Kasuku, Bebe Cool, shared his decision to forgive the controversial content creator, offering her a second chance to rebuild her character.

He revealed that Luwilight’s release would happen soon, encouraging her to reflect on her actions and use her social media platforms with more responsibility moving forward.

“I have a daughter at home, and being disrespected online, especially when it affects my image in her eyes, is something I cannot ignore,” Bebe Cool explained, emphasizing the importance of setting positive examples for the younger generation.

Luwilight, who made headlines a few weeks ago after being charged with spreading false information and hate speech, had previously been denied bail when she appeared in court on January 21st.

The social media star was sent back to Luzira Prison after failing to meet the conditions for bail.

She is scheduled to return to court on February 2, 2026, as investigations into her case continue.

Bebe Cool also addressed the broader issue of online conduct, particularly among social media influencers.

“We all have a responsibility to respect one another online,” he said. “It doesn’t matter what side of politics you’re on. Let’s remember that there is life after politics.”
