After a long break from the spotlight, Ugandan R&B crooner Geosteady is ready to reclaim his space on the big stage this Valentine’s Day, but not without a surprise twist.
The singer’s much-anticipated comeback concert, Geosteady Live, has officially been moved from its initially announced venue at Speke Resort Munyonyo to Sheraton Gardens. Despite the change, excitement around the show continues to build as fans count down to what promises to be an emotional and intimate night of music.
Set for February 14, the concert marks Geosteady’s first major performance since his last show in 2023 and comes after a period of relative silence from the artiste. Over the past year, the singer stepped away from the public eye to address personal matters, including rehabilitation, a journey he now describes as transformative.
More than just a Valentine’s Day serenade, Geosteady Live is being positioned as a moment of renewal. The R&B star says the time away allowed him to reconnect with himself and rediscover his passion for music, leaving him creatively reenergised and eager to perform again.
“This is more than a concert; it’s a celebration of growth, love, and resilience,” Geosteady shared. “I’m coming back with a different mindset, different energy, and a performance my fans will truly feel.”
Fans can expect a refreshed sound, an emotionally charged setlist, and a stronger stage presence from the Tokendeeza hitmaker, whose music has long been associated with love, heartbreak, and soulful storytelling.
While the venue change has sparked curiosity, organisers have yet to publicly explain why the show was shifted from Munyonyo to Sheraton Gardens. Radio and television promotions have already been updated, assuring fans that the concert will go on as planned, just in a new setting.
As Valentine’s Day approaches, one thing is clear: Geosteady’s return is shaping up to be one of the season’s most talked-about musical moments.
