Karole Kasita, a proud mother to her son King, has spoken candidly about how she deliberately separates her stage persona from her role as a parent. In a time when children are increasingly exposed to digital content at a young age, the singer says she is intentional about regulating what her son watches and ensuring he grows up in a safe and guided environment.

Kasita revealed that her son will not be given access to watch her performances, noting that there are things she does on stage that he does not need to see. She explained that responsible parenting today requires close monitoring of what children consume on screens, including phones and tablets, and making use of child friendly digital platforms.

“My son will not see what I do. As a good parent, you have to regulate what your child watches on their screens, tabs or on your phone. There is YouTube for Kids, even TikTok. He will not. The time he gets to see it, I will be way past it and maybe someone else will come out doing worse than me,” she said.

She added that beyond digital boundaries, her son already plays a big role in shaping her personal choices. According to Kasita, she listens closely to him, even when it comes to public conversations around her dress code and image.

“As a parent, I guide my son very well. There are things I do that he cannot see. About my dress code, my son will tell me. He takes control of my life, and the day he tells me to stop, I will. I will listen to him then,” she said.
