Police are investigating the murder of Diana Namulinde, popularly known as Diana Skys, a businesswoman and TikTok content creator, who was found dead in her apartment in Kyanja, Kampala.

According to a police statement issued on Wednesday, the incident is being treated as a case of aggravated robbery and murder by strangulation, which is believed to have occurred on the night of February 3, 2026, in Kwaata Zone, Kyanja Ward, Kawempe Division.

The deceased, aged 24, lived alone in an apartment in Kyanja. Her body was discovered on February 4 after friends, concerned about her whereabouts, went to check on her and found the apartment open.

Police said that earlier on the same day, officers arrested a security guard attached to the premises after he was found in possession of items suspected to have been stolen. Some of the recovered items were later identified as belonging to the deceased.

A team of homicide detectives, working together with Scene of Crime Officers, visited and documented the scene. Several exhibits were recovered, and statements were recorded from relevant witnesses to aid the investigation.

Police further revealed that three suspects have so far been identified in connection with the murder, and two have been arrested to assist with ongoing investigations.

The body of the deceased was conveyed to KCCA Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem examination as investigations continue.
