Singer Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel from the Goodlife crew is currently at Nsambya Hospital awaiting surgery after an incident that happened last night in Munyonyo.
According to reports, Weasel and his baby Maama Sandra Teta got into a heated argument at Shan’s bar in Munyonyo which later led to Sandra knocking the artiste to the extent of breaking his leg and driving away.
We have learnt that the artiste is heading for surgery today to see whether he will be able to walk on his own again.
Sandra Teta on the other hand is being held at Kabalagala police station.
According to a reliable source, Weasel has however instructed the police to release his baby maama.
This follows a series of fights between the couple with the most notable one happening in 2022 where it was alleged that the singer attacked Sandra Teta at Nomads Bar in Bunga together with their kids and accused her of being negligent and not taking good care of them.
A video that was later released showed Weasel with their children at Nomads Bar ranting and calling out Sandra Teta.
Sandra Teta later appeared with a bruised face which resulted in rumours that the Nakudata artiste was the one responsible. However, Teta came out through her social media pages and revealed that her face was disfigured by goons, not Weasel.
“In reference to the pictures circulating on the media, on my way from work on Friday night, I was attacked by unknown goons who fled with my phone, handbag, and Shs1.3m,” she partly wrote on Snapchat.
Weasel and Sandra have been together for more than five years and the relationship has been blessed with two children together.
