Despite registering an average turnout at her just-concluded concert at Cricket Oval over the weekend, singer Omega 256 has expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans who showed up to support her.
“Thank you to each and every one of you who came out to dance, sing along, and vibe with me. Your energy is what fuels my passion for music, and I’m so grateful to have such an amazing audience,” Omega shared in a post-concert message.
She also extended an apology to fans in case some elements of the show did not meet their expectations.
Originally scheduled for May 2, Omega 256’s concert was postponed to September 19, 2025, after disagreements with the initial organiser, Nobat Events. Determined to push through, the singer took matters into her own hands and independently organized the show.
The concert marked Omega 256’s first-ever Kampala performance, making her the third artiste from Western Uganda to headline at Cricket Oval. Ray G paved the way with his successful show last year, followed by T Paul earlier this year.
