Bell Lager has officially announced the return of Bell ObaFest 2025, a nationwide cultural celebration set to take festivalgoers on a journey through Uganda’s rich heritage of food, music, beer, and community spirit. This year’s edition promises to be bigger and bolder, celebrating the theme “Flavour for your flavour.”
Now in its third edition, Bell ObaFest expands into a regional festival experience, taking the excitement beyond Kampala and into Uganda’s heartlands. The festivities kick off in Gulu at Kweyo Village Shoppers on October 11, before heading to Masaka, Arua, and Mbarara, culminating in the grand finale in Kampala later this year.
Each regional stop will immerse fans in a multi-sensory celebration — from live music and delicious food to the signature taste of Bell Lager, creating unforgettable moments that capture Uganda’s diverse cultural spirit.
“Bell ObaFest is back bigger and bolder with regional celebrations, allowing us to take the festival to communities across Uganda and build up to the ultimate experience in Kampala,” said Lillian Kansiime, Bell Lager Brand Manager.
“This edition is a celebration of the vibrant culture that defines Uganda.”
More than a music or beer festival, Bell ObaFest continues to embody the essence of Uganda’s cultural identity. Each experience combines culinary creativity, music, and interactive activations that bring people together — this time with the added twist of Bell Citrus and Bell Honey, innovative flavors that perfectly match the festival’s lively, authentic vibe.
In addition to celebrating culture, Bell Lager is also emphasizing sustainability and community impact.
“We are taking deliberate steps to reduce the festival’s environmental footprint,” Kansiime added. “Initiatives such as waste management, recycling, and sustainable practices ensure a greener, more responsible celebration. We’re building on last year’s success with hydration stations, extensive recycling, and accessibility measures for people with disabilities.”
Bell ObaFest also serves as a platform for local talent, giving emerging artists, chefs, and creative performers a stage to shine. From traditional dances and local cuisines to contemporary entertainment, the festival celebrates the beauty of Uganda’s diversity and the joy of shared experiences.
Fans are encouraged to follow the Bell ObaFest journey across Uganda and share their experiences online. Details on schedules, venues, and artist line-ups will be shared soon via Bell Lager’s social media channels.
With its fusion of music, food, culture, and sustainability, Bell ObaFest 2025 is shaping up to be a celebration like no other — a toast to Uganda’s spirit, flavour, and togetherness.
