When Bebe Cool took a brief break from the campaign trail and visited his sons Deen Ssali (Deen Ozil) and Cayson Ssali at their football camp in Masaka, he expected to catch up on their progress — not to be introduced to their new favorite music.
While bonding, Bebe Cool recorded a video of himself with Deen Ozil, proudly asking the boy to sing for him. To his amusement, the young Ssali confidently launched into Lil Pazo’s viral hit “Kisododo”, word for word, including the explicit parts. Bebe Cool laughed through the moment, visibly surprised at what his son had picked up.
Lil Pazo later acknowledged the clip on TikTok, posting a duet and writing, “MR DEEN OZIL SSALI ?? @Bebe Cool.”
But when the video spread across social media, it triggered a heated conversation.
While some viewers found it harmless and funny insisting many children already know the song, others felt Bebe Cool’s reaction was irresponsible. Several users questioned why a grown man would find humor in his child singing vulgar lyrics, with some saying the musician should have condemned it instead of “throwing his teeth around in praise.”
Others took shots at his parenting, arguing that Bebe Cool took his son “from a first world to a fourth world” only for him to learn “the bare minimum like vulgar lyrics.” Some wondered aloud where the artiste himself “grew up” to find such content entertaining for a child. A portion of the public said they would be worried, not amused, if their own child sang the same song, calling the moment “dense” and not something a responsible parent should celebrate.
Still, a section of fans defended him, saying most Ugandan kids know the song already and the outrage was unnecessary.
