Content creator and TikTok personality Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, is fighting for his life as he urgently seeks funds for a bone marrow transplant.
Jayden, 24, was diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia, a severe and life-threatening condition in which the bone marrow fails to produce enough blood cells. According to his medical team, the transplant is the only viable solution and must be done within the next three months if he is to survive.
The procedure will cost 30,000 US dollars (Shs 108m), money that Jayden and his family are unable to raise on their own. His youngest sibling has already been identified as a compatible donor, but the family still needs funds for the operation and several medical tests.
In an emotional update shared publicly, Jayden revealed that the financial burden has become overwhelming and appealed to Ugandans for assistance. His plea has sparked an outpouring of support, with many coming together to call for contributions.
Among those stepping in is musician Bebe Cool, who has reached out personally to offer his help. According to Jayden, Bebe Cool contacted him and pledged to support his search for financial aid to ensure the life-saving transplant takes place in time.
Jayden’s friends, fans and fellow content creators are mobilizing on social media, urging the public to contribute and save the young entertainer’s life.
