Kampala’s favourite outdoor meat and music experience, Meatings, returns this Saturday, December 20, for its final edition of 2025, and it promises to be louder, tastier, and more electric than ever.
Set at the laid-back outdoor space of Gazebo Grill in Najjera, Meatings has evolved into more than just a grill event. It is where perfectly cooked meat meets big conversations, cold drinks meet easy laughter, and music takes centre stage. This December edition, themed Meatings: Meat, Friends & Vibez, is set to deliver a full sensory experience powered by an all-star entertainment lineup.
Headlining the decks is legendary DJ Sir Aludah, a true crowd controller whose name alone guarantees a memorable night. Known for flawless transitions, nostalgic throwbacks, and explosive party energy, Sir Aludah is expected to take revellers on a musical journey across eras and genres.
Backing him up is one of Kampala’s most in demand selectors, DJ Heydez, whose high energy sets blend Amapiano, Afrobeat, Dancehall, and club anthems, perfectly timed to keep both the grills and the dance floor fired up. Adding more flavour to the mix is Mary Jo, whose infectious presence and playful selections are guaranteed to keep the vibe fun and relentlessly upbeat.
Also stepping up on the decks are Khurk, Damze, Josh MC, and Guhi, each bringing their signature sound to what promises to be a nonstop musical rollercoaster curated to match clinking glasses, laughter, and sizzling meat.
Of course, great meat deserves the perfect pairing, and this edition of Meatings delivers just that with apple flavoured Tusker Cider. Crisp, refreshing, and smooth on the palate, Tusker Cider has become a favourite among food lovers for its effortless pairing with steak and a wide variety of grilled cuts.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mercy Atwongyeire, Premium Beer Project Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited, shared her excitement.
