Aly Allibhai, the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Producer of Talent Africa Group, has been awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs), in recognition of his exceptional and enduring contribution to Africa’s entertainment, culture, music, fashion, and tourism industries.
The ASFA’s highest honor was presented by Uganda’s Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu, celebrating a career that has helped shape the creative landscape of the continent for over two decades.
Receiving the award, Allibhai described the recognition as a shared victory.
“This honor is deeply humbling,” he said. “It represents the collective effort of an incredible team at Talent Africa Group, the artists and creatives who trust us with their vision, and the partners who believe in the power of culture to tell Africa’s story. I dedicate this award to everyone who continues to build this industry with passion and purpose.”
Under Allibhai’s leadership, Talent Africa Group has grown into one of East Africa’s most formidable 360-degree entertainment and events powerhouses. The company has delivered world-class concerts, festivals, cultural showcases, corporate productions, and international collaborations—consistently elevating African talent while creating sustainable platforms for creatives.
His work spans talent development, international artist bookings, large-scale live productions, fashion showcases, tourism-driven cultural events, as well as high-level government, diplomatic, and corporate engagements. Through these efforts, Allibhai has played a pivotal role in positioning Uganda as a vibrant hub for global entertainment and cultural exchange.
The ASFA Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates individuals whose influence, leadership, and legacy have left a lasting imprint on the creative industries.
