Excitement is building after Moroccan-American rapper French Montana confirmed that his verse on the remix of Joshua Baraka’s hit song Morocco is already complete.
The confirmation came just a day after fans online nudged the Unforgettable rapper about featuring on the remix. French Montana responded with enthusiasm, tweeting: “I just touched down in Moroccoooo, my verse done.”

He was replying to Ugandan creative Ronald Egesa, who reminded the rapper of his past influence and urged him to once again “put Uganda on the map.” French Montana retweeted the message, instantly sending fans into a frenzy.
Social media quickly lit up with praise, jokes, and bold predictions about the remix’s impact.
“In the next government, you deserve a very big ambassadorial position in the Ugandan government,” wrote Andrew Mugume.
“We’re going to stream the song like our lives depend on it,” added Mmahndem.
Douglas Ojera echoed the hype, saying, “We’re giving you another billion views.”
Others took a more humorous tone, suggesting that French Montana’s renewed connection with the region signals even bigger global success ahead.
