Grammy Award nominee Eddy Kenzo has said he will no longer discuss fellow musician Bebe Cool in public, following recent remarks by Bebe Cool claiming that Kenzo does not understand copyright law.
Speaking during an interview, the Nkulowozako hitmaker said talking about Bebe Cool does not benefit him in any way, but instead gives Bebe Cool publicity.
“This is the last time I am going to talk about you in front of the cameras. I don’t gain anything when I talk about you, but you gain a lot,” Kenzo said.
Kenzo added that Bebe Cool often speaks about successful musicians in order to stay relevant.
“We go to the studio, record good music that reaches the masses, and whoever does that is the one he starts attacking to be relevant. He has been doing that for many years,” he said.
The Big Talent boss also advised the Bafuude artist to focus on his music and rediscover his artistic direction.
“He should go back to the studio and record good music that is embraced by the public. He is just masquerading. He doesn’t know whether to sing in English or Luganda, and he doesn’t know his audience,” Kenzo added.
