Singer A Pass has alleged that he was assaulted by unknown men near a polling station during the recently concluded 2026 General Elections, an incident he shared publicly on his social media platforms.
In a video caption posted online, the musician claimed that the attack happened when he was about 50 metres away from the polling station. According to A Pass, the assault was unprovoked.
“Bakubye nze. Naye nga tewali nansonga yona,” he wrote, suggesting there was no clear reason for the attack.
He further alleged that he was ambushed by three men, two of whom were wearing army uniform, while the third was dressed in civilian clothing.
“I did not see them coming,” A Pass stated, adding that the incident happened suddenly and without warning.
By the time of publication, there had been no official statement from security authorities regarding the allegations. The incident has since sparked conversation online, with fans and members of the public expressing concern and calling for clarity on what transpired.
