Ziza Bafana has hinted at a possible professional reunion with former manager Roger Lubega, years after their highly publicized fallout over alleged mismanagement of bookings and finances in 2016.
Before Roger Lubega rose to prominence as Spice Diana’s manager, he was the man steering Ziza Bafana’s career. Their partnership, however, eventually collapsed amid disagreements that pushed them onto separate paths. Now, with Roger no longer managing Spice Diana, the door to a potential comeback partnership appears to be slightly ajar.
Speaking in an interview with Galaxy TV, Bafana revealed that despite their past misunderstandings, he harbors no personal grudges against Roger. In fact, he says they remain friends and working together again is not off the table.
According to Bafana, the only condition is alignment.
“I understand this business very well. Nothing stops us from working together if we sit down and agree on certain things,” he explained. “As an artist, you have to know what you want.”
Bafana reflected on the root of their earlier split, noting that clashing visions ultimately pulled them apart.
“One of the things that caused our separation was that I wanted certain things as an artist, while the manager wanted totally different things,” he said. “I introduced him to the entertainment business, and he has achieved so much.”
The singer added that if they can now find common ground, shared goals, clear strategies, and mutual respect, a reunion could be mutually beneficial.
“If we spark an understanding with a common goal, we can formulate strategies and work together to achieve those dreams.”
